After few days of a blackout due to the Swedish police department's crackdown on the office, the popular TV torrent site EZTV is recovering back to normalcy, says the new report.
Torrent Freak citing company officials has confirmed that EZTV's several servers are up and running again and the original domain EZTV.it will be fully functional in coming days.
Numerous EZTV's torrents are finding their way to Kickass.so and ExtraTorrent websites and that's not all; proxy site – 'eztv-proxy.net' is reportedly connecting to the back-end IP address of the original website with new uploads.
The Pirate Bay Clones Hit Internet:
There is no word on when the popular torrent file sharing site, The Pirate Bay, will be back in action, but various reports have surfaced online that some mirror/proxy sites have mushroomed on the Internet hoodwinking unsuspecting torrent users.
Torrent Freak has learnt that some copycats are using "PirateBay" titles with different domains and has warned users that the sites may have malwares and scams.
One such site is ''thepiratebay.cr' site; it does not have an upload link nor can the user log in to add torrents on the website.
It sometimes directs users to another proxy site with '.ee' domain, which was previously thought to be the original website. It charged money from users for downloads.
Now it is learnt that after the shutdown of the original site, 'thepiratebay.ee' has disabled the payment option, but we still advise our readers to exercise caution.
Another proxy site going by the name – 'OldPirateBay.org' built by rival isohunt.so promoters has hit the Internet. Unlike other fake mirror sites, this website openly flaunts that they are not the original torrent site.
"We saw a lot of topics where people are looking for something like this. For sure it has some bugs and glitches but we are going to improve it. The tool is for the users' convenience till TPB comes alive again," TF quoted OldPirateBay.org operators as saying.
